Hmm, sounds like it might be. Dont go by what pictures look like.
Could either be ingrown hairs mixed with a yeast infection or it could be something like genital warts or herpes. Its not that big a deal, you just need to make some life changes if it is an STD.
Make a doctors appt asap. If it IS an STD you dont want to go untreated, as it can cause cervical cancer, infertility, and lots of other bad things. Its better to just know for sure and go from there.
Good luck! And be careful! If you have sex from now on, use protection!

I got identified with herpes (type 2) about 3 yrs ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a dumb one-night stand. I understand a lot of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/Wm5Jx everything got better.
Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

sounds like you have infected ingrown hairs, not an std from you shaving with a razor. Use an electric razor, or a cream it will stop the bumps

It could just easily be a boil... I've had one, it was the size of a quarter! Does it hurt when you touch it ever? Try not to shave down, there, to see if it could be due to a boil...
But
It could also be easily genital herpes!
Either way GO to the doctor!!! They can give you anti-biotics if its a boil, and DON'T wait TOO LONG!!! that could cause a lot more problems!!!

maybe you should stop shaving the area for a while and see if the problem is still there. I'm betting it's just related to how you shave.

could be vaginal warts....u need to see a dr......also shaving could be causing the red bumps unless there is puss in them....still see a dr. and do not have sex until u know for sure. u could pass something on to someone else and that is not fair to them, and certainly not a reputation u would want to have.

It could be an STD, better get checked to be sure.
FYI, herpes can cause sores like that I think , and 25% of adults in the US have it. Only one fifth of them realize that they have it.
