Drunk people only have their inhibiitions lowered. If someone was drunk when they told me, "I love you" or "I don't have any STDs," I certainly wouldn't believe them!!
This question is like asking if all non-drunk people tell the truth. Sometimes they tell the truth and sometimes they don't.

When they're drunk, everything comes out. Different story when they sober up. Though I know of people who have embellished on a story about you the next day when they thought you were more drunk than you actually were.

I believe that drunk people do tell the truth, however exaggerated it may be.

I would think they do. It goes along with that thing people always say, " When I drink I fell free". I think people will tell the truth and then blame the liquor made them say that later. If they are confronted.

If they don't its relly easyto tell theyre lying. P.J. O'Rourke, has a quote that says "I like to do my principle research in bars, where people are more likely to tell the truth or, at least, lie less convincingly than they do in briefings and books."

Drunk people are as unique as sober people. They don't all have the same values...so you can't generalize on them, but they do have impaired judgment, memory, and accuracy, etc.
