because cars dont come with round back seats.

And they always said the round peg doesnt fit in the square hole!
My square hole only had a few cracks around the edges. If only I was clever enough to notice the pizza box, I would have been able to get my parents off my back since I was young.

It's more costly to produce a round box than it is to produce a square box.
If it's round, the company who makes it has to spend extra time bending the corners and creating new fold lines for the pizza companies.
However, if it's rectangular, there is no extra modifications that need to be done.

Too difficult to manufacture a good round box. Square is much easier.

Its just protocol. Boxes come eighther in a square or rectangle. I know it will make more sence if it was round for a pizza.

That is something I never thought about it before. It is probley easer for them to use a square box then to put together a round one.

You can get square pizza's too!!
Plus if they came in a round box, then we wouldn't get 3 "square" meals a day...LOL yeah...I'am a dork..

It's easier to get the round pizza out of a squarebox. Has room for your hands to get in there and pull out a slice. Think about it.
