I saw this a lot when I went to Vietnam a few years ago. They put a cobra in a bottle and fill it with vodka or some other spirit. Some people believe it gives them strength and virility. They also drink snake blood mixed with vodka.

Actually... Its a thing in China. According to Chinese ... The snake will give you power/longevity so its just from that idea. It's probably not worth anything on the western market, so I doubt you'll be able to sell it. The most you can do I guess is to display it.. But it is actually fairly common in restaurants in China & Taiwain & other Asian countries

I saw it for sale throughout my travels in Laos. The local people told me that they rarely drink it and it is just for "show" for the tourists. At one time they believed that men who drank the snake whiskey would be better endowed and father more children. Now, it is just a way for them to make money and laugh at the tourists who fall for it.

Cymalon has the answer. I just wanted to add that that is the reason Special Forces personnel are called "Snake", or "Snake Eater". They, for the most part during their career, will have imbibed in this as an initiation, or to prove themselves to locals.
