Blood transfusions are given I.V. I don't think this usually counts as "surgery" unless a cut down is needed to insert an I.V. when it can't be inserted normally. The other two...blood vessels and heart transplants are done surgically almost routinely these days. Every time a viable heart is donated, there is someone in need to receive it. During a cardiac by-pass surgery, blood vessels are taken from the leg and used for by-pass.....very, very routine. Blood/blood products (plasma for instance) tranfusions? Done everyday in almost every hospital during & after surgery and/or if someone has an anemia problem....

all of them - you can have blood transfusions, and heart transplants and you can be given blood vessels to either replace your own that have gone bad as in heart bypass, or as in my case, I received a kidney transplant and they had to give me blood vessels to "hook" everything up since it was placed in my lower abdomen.
