Depends on which on you are talking about. There are many out here.Syphilis you have first no symptoms, until the first painless lesion appears, usually around your mouth, but through out the years you will develop various other symptoms related to Syphilis,the disease is highly contagious.
Gonorrhea can start with urinary frequency, sore throat,diarrhea
Genital warts appear in clusters, are most often painless, around your genital or mouth
Herpes simplex Type 1 and 2 transmitted through Virus. Genital one is the most common on.
And of course HIV/AIDS. Which can be without symptoms for years. Symptoms could be flu like ,rash, high fever to Begin with.
All venereal diseases are highly contagious.
