you should get them checked, it could be serious! It could've been from your partner. You never know.

Ok first off, anal warts are not herpes, they are a form of HPV (Human Papillomavirus) and 75% of all sexually active people in the reproductive age is positive. There is no test for a guy , except for obtaining a biopsy on what you think maybe warts, as far as women they can be tested by doing a pap smear, so at least your not alone. Warts usually have a mushroom shape and are usually colorless, but you cant tell unless you see a doctor, hope that helps

My son had anal warts. Tea Tree oil cleared them up. The doctor cut them off and hurt him terribly. Treated him poorly actually when he learned my son is gay. The Dr. was wonderful for many years until my son "came out" to the doc. Well, the warts grew back and I read that tea tree oil is good. He tried that with Q-tips and in a few weeks they were gone...I think it was about a week of doing this at night and he noticed they were shrinking and not hurting him anymore. Gay or not, this is a possible help. No one wants to get them or deal with them!!!

I guess your partner and you shold have worn a condom.
Since some people like to live and NOT learn, here's my advise. Go see a dermatologist or proctologist. You need to have these removed. Warts are from a virus. Some people can carry and transmit without an outbreak. Sounds like your partner is one of those, Good luck

If your partner is a carrier of HPV, the virus that causes genital warts, he could be asymptomatic and yet still infect you if you had anal sex. Genital warts around the anus result in this case. They can be treated with several different treatments, so go get checked.
