What's special about it is that it is CHOCOLATE. When it is made without Milk (Dark Chocolate) and with a minimum of sugar - it is at it's best. (however, it is very bitter with NO sugar, it must have some - but not so much as the typical candy bar of today) - the milk and the abundance of sugar ruins the chocolate)

Are you joking?
Obviously, you have been excluded from the international Chocolate fanatics...rich, creamy, velvet on your tongue.
The reason why most normal people are so mad about it is because it (supposedly) releases endorphines into the blood-
resulting in a tangiable sensation and ripples of pleasure that cascade down your back....
I´ll be off then, the urge has returned!

Chocolate is derived from the same plant as cocaine. The Cacao tree, the beans are used for chocolate and the leaves are used for cocaine. Besides the taste, perhaps this is why it is so addictive. Fortunately it isn't deadly in the same way cocaine is.
