OH-YEAH... and certainly on a Ceasar Salad. Everyone is at their own with pepper so it should never be put on before unless in a place where it is served like that on the menu. I'm a git-yer-wrist sore pepper lover. The waiter usually just gets tired and walks away, but pepper should never be the main flavor of your salad since it defeats the purpose. Unless the salad sucks...then bury it! RAJA

Only if you want!

Pepper adds a bite to otherwise bland lettuce. Be careful when adding to sharper greens such as radichio and endive, since these already have a rather bitter flavor. You can always add pepper to any salad you plan on serving with a creamy-type dressing, since the creaminess will cover for the tang of the pepper. Note the Creamy Ranch dressings readily available at your local grocer.

Don't be afraid to experiment, just make sure you ask guests before going overboard!

I love to top my salads with pepper. Its just like adding a few sprinkles of bacon bits or cheese.

Pepper on salads... of course...

Red, green, yellow, orange and purple bell peppers....

White, black and red fresh ground pepper will give it a kick....

But you should try Tabasco with your favorite dressing.

place a pepper mill beside the salad dish and let your diners decide. I personally like it on a salad.

Only fresh cracked pepper on the dressing!

Do you mean the vegetable - like bell peppers or the spice - like black pepper? I guess it doesn't matter to my reply - I use them both.
