You don't say if your mom is a vegetarian if she is then until you leave home you may be stuck (I'm guessing it's her house therefore it's her rules!).
If however, you wish to cook for yourself and provide your own cookware (so as to not get traces of meat products on your mom's cooking stuff), you will need to confront her with your choice, patiently and intelligently; telling her exactly how you feel and how you wish to eat.
Simply and honestly tell her about your decision - why you made it, if you plan to stick with it forever, or it's just something you are curious about, or whatever it is that you think and feel.
Then you will need to listen to her and handle her objections kindly and rationally. Remember, mom's have feelings and minds of their own too. Also, remember most mom's are not stupid.
It would probably be best to make sure that your mom is well rested and in a good frame of mind before telling her of your decision.
I hope you are not really afraid of your mom. If you are then make sure that someone else is there with you when you tell her.
Good Luck! :0) from a mom, who is also a grandma and a great grandma. We are a family of vegetarians and non-vegetarians who co-exist peacefully together.

You must be afraid to talk to your mother, just tell her you would like to try some other food, been vegetarian don't make you to be the best person in the world,if you have some sickness and the doctor say you have to be a vegetarian to live that is a diff rent story, or you could tell it to your teacher,

Talk to your Mom and explain why you want to stop being a vegetarian. You need to have your reasons ready because then you will show your Mom that it is a considered decision and not a spur of the moment thing.
Talk calmly to your Mom and listen too. By showing her that you respect her opinion but have your own ideas, she will respect you more.
My son is six and at the moment is happy eating a vegetarian diet and being special to his friends but if he wants to try meat I would respect his wishes. I have told him that he can decide for himself, I made the decision when he was a baby but it is his life and I think your Mom will see it that way to.
Good luck with your decision.

why would she get mad because you wanted to be one and she didn't want you to, or because she thought it was best? you should rationalize with her, tell her that you feel like your betraying yourself by continuing to do something you don't believe in anymore or that it was an experience you enjoyed but that part of your life is over now, be honest and tell her your real reasons, not what you think she wants you to feel. good luck

just be honest with her. My fiance is vegetarian and i am not.....we are leaving it up to our child to decide what he wants to do. either is fine with both of us.....its his choice. Just tell her its your personal preference and you dont look down on HER for staying a vegetarian(as that is her choice)

Just tell her. No child should ever have to be afraid of their parents. Good luck; I hope things work out!

Just don't do it. How could you eat carcases after living a moral existence for so long? Not only is eating meat immoral, it is unhealthy, bad for the environment, and downright disgusting! Rethink your decision, it is worth the sacrifice!

I would tell her that you need to eat meat because you like it. You need to make your own choices in life and mom needs to repect them.
