check the glucose content in honey. My father had diabetes and he insisted that he could eat all the honey that he wasted but when I had gestational diabetes I was told that honey is only slightly healthier than sugar and should also be used with caution.
Talk to your doctor.

No, not if you have control of your glucose. Honey is better than table sugar, but if you are going to use honey, use "Royal Jelly"...it's got nutrients and health benefits. Royal Jelly is the food the worker bees feed to the queen that enables her to grow and live for 7 years. Worker bees live only a matter of days. Royal jelly can be found in health food stores and as a nutrient, the suggested health benefit serving is 2 teaspoons a day. it tastes great. but, make sure your blood sugar is under control and you are eating a well balanced diet.

Honey has no medicinal or health benefits--it's just another form of sugar. However, if you like to use it, just measure the amount of carbohydrates, and put it into your food plan. Your body will respond to it the way it responds to 2 spoons of corn syrup, or maple syrup....MMMMMmmm!

All of these are great for low blood sugar!
