It's an acquired taste. It's not something I would rush blindly into. I had a wonderful experience the first time I tried sushi because the people I was with were connoisseurs, brought me to the finest sushi restaurant in South East Florida and carefully took the time to educate me in the intricacies of the food. It was a culinary and cultural experience. I have a great appreciation, now, for sushi and the talents needed by an experienced sushi chef. If you try it, go with someone who really knows about it.

Of course i do weekly.
Many people believe that SUSHI = raw fish, this is WRONG
SASHIMI is raw fish slices served above daikon and lettue most time.

Sushi consists of a vinegared-rice with some sort of topping, either fish, vegetable, or egg. Not all of the fish in sushi is raw either.

Maguro is tuna which is raw
Sake - salmon also raw , but there is a smoke salmon you can have
Ebi- shrimp (cooked)
Ama-ebi - raw shrimp
Hamachi - yellowtail tuna
toro - fatty tuna
Chutoro - fattier tuna
Ootoro - the fatties tuna and the BEST and the most expensive!!

There is much more to enjoy about sushi the taste, the texture, the design, the atmosphere it's not about just eating sushi, it's about the Experience!!!!

I love sushi. Most people think it's got to have fish (raw, or sometimes cooked or smoked) but I like veggie sushi. Kompyo (a type of marinaded guord) is my favorite sushi filling. I also like to eat it without anything extra on it. No soy, no wasabi, no ginger, just the flavored rice, the seaweed wrapping, and the filling. Yum!

I'm not a fan of Nori, the black seaweed that is on the outside of sushi. I've had it a bunch of times though. I prefer it when the rice is wrapped on the outside and the nori on the inside. Not strictly sushi, I know. But much better tasting. Also, I only eat vegetarian sushi.

I REALLY REALLY love it! I don't think eating sushi is disgusting. Some of the sushi can be made out of raw fish, but some are not! Try one, you will know that it's not bad at all.

I DO eat sushi!! Although I admit that I prefer to go easy on the raw fish, but there are LOTS of different varieties that have little or no raw fish, so it's not a problem!

I love it.

It is an acquired taste. It sure isn't for everyone, like those who never had caviar would be appaled at the taste knowing it is nothing but fish egg, and yet a mouthful would cost an average $50.

Sushi is the same thing.

Why do you keep asking the same question?

Lots of people like sushi
lots of people have no idea what sushi really is

I LOVE SUSHI!

In Japanese cuisine, sushi (Japanese: 寿司, also すし, 壽司, 鮨 or 鮓) is a food made of vinegared rice combined with various toppings or fillings.

In Japan the word sushi refers to a broad range of foods prepared with sumeshi (酢飯) or sushi meshi (寿司飯), vinegared rice. Sushi toppings or fillings can include seafood, meat, vegetables, mushrooms or egg, Sushi toppings may be raw, cooked, or marinated. In the Western world, sushi is often misunderstood to mean clumps of rice topped with raw fish, or even simply raw seafood, which is properly called sashimi.
