Ischemia occurs when a part of the body, in this case, the heart, does not receive enough oxygen.
Your heart maintains a supply and demand balance for oxygen. If it requires more oxygen than your body can supply, the heart will become ischemic. This is usually manifested by chest pain, but some people can have ischemia and not feel it (especially diabetics). If it goes on too long, it can turn into infarction (heart attack), where part of the heart muscle dies.

I think you are talking about ischemia which is a problem usually due to poor oxygenation. Ischemia can happen at any time. Using oxygen usually fixes the immediate problem. It sounds like you should have a discussion with your doctor about it. He/She should be able to educate you fully on ischemia and the causes and effects of it as well as the treatments. Good luck to you!

ischemia is a fancy word for abnormality of unknown origin. It means the heart problem is of unknown origin, meaning they dont know what it is or what caused it.

It's ischemia.
(I don't think they were answering their question. I think they want to know what it means more in depth than just a "heart problem").
Hope the link helps!
