There are two kinds of herpes. Herpes Simplex I and Herpes Simplex II. The symptoms of HSI are sores in the mouth. The symptoms of HSII are sores on the genitalia.
You're not going to get HSI from giving a guy a b'low-job.

If you are going to have oral sex, try to be as safe as possible. you can use protection with oral sex, the same way you can with intercourse.

I think having a bump 2 days later is a little premature. I do not approve of promiscuity, but I also don't think this cause you to have herpes so soon. you may have herpes from another sex act.

but my educated guess is that one of your taste buds died and it is painful just like any other part of your body when you get hurt or have a physical problem.

I do recommend that you see a doctor if you are having oral sex unprotected. Unfortunately sex now a days can lead to death and not just a little bump.

Please see a doctor and get protection for your self in the future.

I got identified with herpes (type 2) about 6 yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a dumb one-night stand. I understand lots of young ladies will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores round her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/gBXaJ everything changed.

Not only was I able to remove all remnants of the herpes virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a crowded cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program provided me the chance to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the World.

not herpes-there are no proven cases of herpes on genitalia being passed to the tongue or lips of a person performing oral. Most likely you would just get a sore throat.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy.

and the ppl answering this question don't know what they are talking about. you can get herpes from preforming oral on an infected partner. even if they don't have symptoms. BUT HS1 (the oral kind) will appear as a cold sore, not on your tongue. so i think your fine. but if your having doubts, go get tested.
