Actually a large percentage of people that carry the herpes-2 virus never have outbreaks or show any symptoms, yet they can still transmit the virus, although it may take a long time for them to transmit it. It is liklely that he has had it for a long time, and is an asymptomatic carrier. This is quite common, and is one of the reasons why herpes spreads so easily and is now so widespread (1 in 5 adults, and 1 in four women in the US now have it). So he could be telling you the truth.

It is also possible that you had it for a long time and are just now having an outbreak. This occurs typicaly when your immunce system is suppressed, by another virus, or by high levels of stress (such as getting married etc.). This scenario is somewhat less likely however, statistically speaking.

I got identified with herpes virus (type 2) about four years back, whilst I was still attending college and had a mindless one-night stand. I understand a lot of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date other men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/APRPB everything improved.

Not only was I able to eliminate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This program gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.

Okay for one, it is possible that he has herpes and it never got passed to you until now (even if he is denying it). I got herpes about 5 years ago, and I had only been with two guys. They both got tested and neither of them had it (or so they claimed!) I obviously had to get it from one of them, it doesn't just appear overnight for some strange reason.

Right now I have a fiance who I have been with for 5 years, I have herpes and he doesn't. That doesn't mean he will never get herpes, but so far he hasn't. I've even read of couples who have been together for 10 or more years. One has herpes and the other doesn't.

Also, he may have cheated on you. I know that's not what you want to hear, but you have to think of the possibilities! He may have not had it, but cheated and got it, and then gave it to you.

Sounds like your boyfriend has it but is completely denying it. Ask him to get tested, and go with him and physically see the results. Don't have him "say" he got test and "doesn't have it". Physically go with him and see the paper. You has the right to know.

I hope this all helps. Good luck!
