Is not really a question of low it's a question of being on rhythm or having proper circulatory flow for the heart and vital organs.

It depends on the disorder that is causing the slow heart rate.Healthy people,especially well-conditioned young people,can have a heart rate that slows down to as low as 30 to 40 beats a minute.Sometimes,medications alone can treat a slow heart rate that is caused by a major disorder.

Pace maker is implanted when "Sino atrial node"is dysfunctional and heart beats with the help of "Atrio ventricular node" havinng a rate of 40 to 60 per minute even after exercise.
