Becoming a vegetarian is really easy after you have done your research. Study what ingredients to avoid.
One example: marshmallows, some sour creams, some margarines, jello, etc have gelatin as an ingredient. And gelatin is ground up (and boiled) animal bones.
Although the vegans would disagree, I would recommend starting with a lacto-ovo vegetarian approach. There are so many recipes that require milk and eggs. Being anything other than lacto-ovo will virtually gaurantee that you will have to cook every meal you eat. Plus, only the most disciplined can live without cheese.
If you feel bad about animal exploitation spend a little more money and buy free-range, vegetarian milk, eggs, etc.
When it comes to recipes, cook anything you like exactly how you always have; but, substitute extra vegetables for the meat.

It isn't hard at all. As you like most vegetables and nuts that is great. Tofu and lentils will provide the protein your body needs. Beans are very good for you too.
I am sure you wont have any problems as you dont like meat so you are not getting protein anyway. Buy a recipe book for ideas. Good luck.

to be a vegetarian its pretty simple nowadays with all the faux meats in every store including Wal-Mart. after only two weeks I was feeling the results and havent looked back.
Being a Vegan is harder and almost impossible to be a 100% vegan. Takes a lot of willpower, but its worth it.

It depends. If you are already used to not eating meats, then it should not be a problem. However, jumping from one extreme to the next is hard, especially for your body to handle. You need to make sure to eat a bunch of proteins (from soy beans or even protein powder)!
