Anything, especially fruits is best eaten raw and unseasoned. Pickled fruits are seasoned with preservatives and certain chemicals which are bad for health. But its quite harmless if you take them once in a while.

Pickle contains salt , oil as preservative and both are harmful if taken in more than recommended daily doses and bcas of long preservation its nutritious value is almost lost while cucumber is a fibre food which keeps ur intestines and skin always health.,so always go by the utility of product and not by its taste.
