I haven't had any since I moved from the States 5 yrs ago. We had a lot of good Ethiopian restaurants in Wash DC! I love using that injira bread, but I will only go with clean people that I know wash their hands good! LOL

200Rhinoceros Beetle Larve (Grubs)
2Warrior Shields of Tremites (Rounded)
4Helmets of Red Ants (Optional)
16Scorpions (To Taste)
2Handfuls of Trade Salt
24Crocodile Eggs (Beaten)
12Rhesus Monkey Tails
36Baboon Jowls
1Medium to Large Missionary (140-200 Lbs), Depending on Availability
(Half Portions of Ingredients for Smaller Entree (Below 140 Lbs.)
Place All Ingredients in Large Communal Cooking Pot and Bring to Boil Over Dried Gnu Dung Fire.
After Screaming Stops and Entree Sinks Below the Surface of The Water, Remove Half of The Gnu Dung And Continue Cooking (Stirring Slowing) Until Entree Again Surfaces.
Serves Village of 200

I've only had it a few times but I really love it. The first and best Ethiopian food I ever had was in Washington, D.C., but I also had good fun taking my dad to an Ethiopian restaurant in Vancouver where he just couldn't belive we got to eat with our hands. He thought it was the greatest thing ever.

Been many years (and like a couple other answers, it was in the DC metro area), but I liked it a lot. It's a good type of retaurant to take vegetarians (including vegans) to.

i think it is great! i love the chicken stew and lentils. i think the food is quite tasty and so easy to make at home.
