STD means sexaully transmitted disease. you get it by having unprotected sex or you can also get it when you use a condom. the best way is to get tested before you have sex. there are a lot of types and some are fatal and some may not turn up until a few years later. they're dangerous.

Sexually Transmitted Disease. If you think you may have one, see a doctor ASAP and practice safe sex by wearing a condom. STD's can cause a lot of physical problems if left untreated: blindness, infertility, infections, etc. and have even been linked to cervical cancer.
