Yes, tofu keeps well in the fridge covered in water which is changed daily. You can marinate tofu in any sauce you like overnight.
An easy recipe for you to try is a stir fry. This is easy too: Cube 1 block of firm tofu
Toss in seasoned flour (whichever spices you like)
Shallow fry in canola oil till brown.
Serve as a snack with sauces for dipping, with a salad or steamed vegetables.
Tofu is so versatile it can be used in so many ways, do you have a cookbook?

yes you can keep it for ages. Change water every day. The marinde is queswtionable. If it is sweet, salty highly spiced or all three and you keep it in the fridge no problem. If you are using egg or fish products then watch out. But over night is fine.
The best tofu is fried, then marinated then fried again. It removes water so the the tofu can soak up the flavour and is crispy.Yum. Even vegans can't argue with that.

Yes, let the seasonings marinate on the tofu; keep it in the refrigerator. Tofu will keep for at least a week. Change the water daily.

Yes,You can marinate overnight. Tofu easily keeps for several days. Since tofu has little flavor it takes on the flavor of the dish your making, so just use it in any recipe you would use meat. It is excellent in stir fry dishes.
