Are they classed as 'paupers only'? or is it a toffee nose attitude towards them, 'if its not posh then we aint having one'?

Nothing wrong with any type of b-b-q as long as it does the job well. If there is someone doesn't like it tell them to F-off

Maybe they think you might ask them to give you a tune when the cookings finished.

I don't actually care what the barbeque looks like as long as the food is good.

How about the people who just use the throw away tin foil things, just as good.

Jamie Oliver (TV Chef) uses them.

nothing wrong with kettle drum bbq's. i like them, in fact i'd like to know where to get a real cleaned out oil drum from?

Most of them are too small and useless to cook the food.

The ones that I've used ....
Well, let's just say that my farts are warmer than them.
