The color of the color. Very interesting.
It seems that most replies state the answer is blue. In general, the 2 ball and the 14 ball are the blue balls in "pool".
With this taken as fact, then, the question is "what color is blue". To respond that blue is blue helps not one bit.
I would respectfully present that the answer be :
The general color of the sky or perhaps the general color of the ocean. It is a melancholy, generally sad color, fairly plain, but always consistent and dependable.
