Why would a woman need to take a DNA test if she's pregnant? It should be very obvious who the mother is. Oh, I guess you are talking about a paternity test. No, that would not be a good idea. They have to do a procedure called amniocentesis, and it is painful, and can cause the woman to have a miscarriage.

A female could have a test done while pregnant, it might be different in other states though. They can do it with an amorticites. It's a test where they put a needle into the sack adn test it, which they also check for disorders and defects, but there is a risk of miscarriage with this so no judge would rule a mother had to get one if she didn't want it. You see it on soaps being done all the time, but it is really possible. But if she doesn't want to do it you're gonna have to wait till the baby is born and get it done.

Since you need to test the DNA of the baby, you will probably need to wait until after it's born. Contact the hospital were the girl will have the baby and ask them if they can perform the test after delivery. I don't know what the process is, but I think they may take blood anyway. However, I believe this might need to be requested through the legal system.
If she is telling everyone the baby is yours, she will have to prove you are the father before she can get any type of support from you. If you had sex with her, remember there is a possibility its yours.

take her to court and get a court order for a dna test, chances are you will have to pay for it. but i wouldnt suggest getting it done before the child is born because it can harm either the mother or the child. They stick a needle into the womans uturus and take samples from the atomic fluid its really not something you should be forcing a woman to do, you should wait until the baby is born and then do something about it

I don't think you can force her. There is always a very tiny risk of harming the baby.
Once the baby is born however it can be done without any problem.
If you feel you are not the father of the baby, then unfortunately you will have to wait. If you are the father, how would you feel if by having a test it harmed your baby??
Just have some patience.

If you are in doubt, do not admit paternity in the child's birth certificate. That is number one. Number two, she will eventually take you to child support, that will be a good thing, as when you appear in court, and I am assuming the child is out of wedlock, that you are not married with this woman, then the court will request a DNA test to confirm paternity and it will be of no cost to you if you are both of low income or the price for the DNA will be shared half and half. Just do not admit paternity in no legal document as then you will be screwed. Good Luck.

no you have to wait until the baby is born and take her to court and demand A DNA test. and once the baby is born DO NOT sign the birth certificate or she can get you for child support. she will have to do a DNA test if she wants you to pay child support.

it is not reccomened to do dna comparisions until the child is born because they have to insert a needle to get the dna out of the baby and if soething were to go wrog it could end up hurting the baby. You can't make her do anything that she wants but you can take her onto maury and get it done there.

you cant to it when she is pregnant as she may loose the baby. Just tell her that you want a dna test. If you leave her and she asks for childsupport then a DNA test has to be done anyway.

I think you better wait until the baby is born and test the baby. Chances are the female knows who her father is.
