Also you should stand up when someone enters the room (for the first time that day).
If its a friend, you can say 'Bab moggossoyo? (Have you eaten), its pretty much a common thing instead of hello, or how are you, or 'nice weather'.

Anyong hee ha say yo. Kind of a combination of hello and how are you all in one. This is the polite version as there are other versions that are meant more for people you know well rather than people you don't know, and you wouldn't say this on the phone, then it would be Yobo say yo.
