Salmon as Sushi is very tasty. It's all about presentation as well. Get some small wood tablets and slice you salmon up in pieces. Place your salmon on the tablet and in a small shallow dish put some wasabi in it. In another small dish pour some soy sauce, or anything similar. Accompanu with different types of fish. Like halibut or swordfish.
Cooked salmon is also tasty, but don't over cook it. Make a rub that consisits of lemon juice salt pepper, basil, cut up onions, minced garlic, and some olive oil. Rub all this onto your salmon, and set it in a container over night. Then your'e going to grill it! Get several layers of aluminum foil together on top of each other. Brush the foil with a little olive oil. Put your fish on the foil, and get some green onions and spread them over the fish. Then pour some more lemon juice on top. After that wrap the fish and set on grill. 10 minutes open it uo and another 10 minutes once you flip. Enjoy.

In the winter, baked salmon is a great meal.
I like mine with a pesto sauce and parmesean cheese covering.
Poached salmon is also excellent. No joke, I've heard of a recipe of using your dishwasher to poach a well covered salmon which reduces the mess immensely. Always wanted to try, never did.

I like it baked in the oven (or toaster oven if only cooking one or two fillets)
I LOVE it grilled on the barbecue.
When grilling, I usually wrap it in foil with seasonings, or I'll grill it on a plank.
Plank salmon is great with cedar or alder.
The recipes I use are in books, but here are a couple of recipes I found on the net:
http://www.gourmetcookingplanks.com/recipes/fish1.htm
http://www.leknott.com/blog/2003/12/cedar_plank_sal.html
There will often be a recipe with the plank you purchase.
