A soldier is created and built to do duty for his/her country. They shouldn't be home at all.

Every person in the world outside the us knows that this is a sham oil war
If you want your kid to commit atrocities or be killed and sent home in a box
then encourage her to go to iraq
Ive heard lots of mothers are demonstrating outside the whitehouse even as we speak
To see the dead bodys of us troops being sent home watch the david mclare hour on pbs tv
They show the body count every night
They dont ask parents or older people to go as we might question why.
They only send the young and poor to fight rich political wars
i say human rights for everyone a persons country is his own not some bastards who has a gun.
go home yankees--- just get out.

Leave Iraq now? I think not. The country would implode and become a hotbed for terrorists. Ironic how we are now on Irans doorstep while they are on the verge of nuclear weapons proliferation. A free Iraq is a terrorists worse nightmare meaning there way of life will be impossible to acheive anywhere in the middle east. The surrounding nations will follow suit because they want they're freedom too. Al-Qaeda knows this...thats why they are fighting so hard in Iraq. We are at a turning point in Iraq thanks to brave young men and women like your neice. Thank you for your familys' sacrafice and God willing she will return home soon.

When your daughter signed up for the military, did you not think there was a chance it meant going to fight for her country. That is kind of the militarys job. The war on terror has many different faces. One of them is being fought in Iraq. You should be honored to have her defend you country. This country needs the support of all of us to win the war. War is never easy. Who in their right mind wants to go to war? We must destroy our enemies as we find them. The people that invaded us on 9/11 have no regard for human life as we saw on that day. There must be a country that will not back down from the terrorist. It's not about oil, it is about freedom for all people. God bless your daughter, as a citizen of the Unites States, I am forever humble and proud of every person that signs up to defend our freedom.
For those who just hate everything we do , God bless your freedom to say so. Remember that without our soldiers fighting for your freedom , you would be shot in many other countries for saying what you said.

I understand your fear/concern for your niece. I have the same concern for several of my troops who are currently stationed over their. As a soldier we go where we are needed for as long as we are needed... So please pray for us, support us, and understand that we may not want to go but our calling is why we are going until it is finished. Tell your niece that my family will pray for her and good luck! We are proud of her and wish her home safe and soon!!! As for bringing them home, I hope that happens soon as well, but NOT until the job is finished and the true threat has been defeated... Thank you for your concern and wishes... and Good luck to your niece!

She's going to hate her time in Iraq. When she gets back, I bet she'll tell you how messed up it is over there. The good news is, statistically she's very likely to come back unharmed. To answer your question, I think we should reduce our troop numbers over there as much as possible.

I don't think that we should bring any of our troops home currently. the job isn't done. Sending our troops home now would only kill more Americans, not just soldiers but regular civilians, because they will be attacking us on our soil instead of theirs

They already voted on Murtha's cut and run bill, overwhelming support for not surrendering. They will come home when they get the job done, not one day sooner.
