Looks like the use of human suffering to make a bit of propaganda to me.
On the one hand pictures of US troops driving by the victims of Katrina, whilst on the other there are picture of Chineese soldiers helping flood victims.
The US certainly failed when it came to the handling of the after effects of Katrina. The Government was slow to react, didn't give enough aid and assistance and spent too much time trying to make political capital out of it.
Why not post a few pictures of people enjoying themselves in Times Squares in 1989 and a few of Chineese tanks crushing the bodies of protesters in Tiananmen Square around the same time ?
It is always easy to score points depending on what pictures you choose to show.

unlike New Orleans where their Democratic Governor and Mayor did the best they could TO drown their people!
Let's give up some props to Nagel for not releasing the busses and letting people fend for themselves and then passing the buck to the feds! That's leadership for you. And to think he got elected for another term.

Wow....I definitely have a brand new appreciation for what the people who reside in New Orleans went through. Good pictures of a very unfortunate incident.

Wow, that looked like pictures from New Orleans after Katrina. It's very gut wrenching. I tried to volunteer to go down there and help, but I wasn't all up to date on my vaccines.
