Once you have it, you will always have it. It doesn't go away because it is a virus, so it will stay with you the rest of your life. You can have outbreaks more than once. There is medication you can take to control your outbreaks. I only get a outbreak once a year IF that.

If you mean can you get HSV more than once, then yes, it is possible to pick more than one strain of the virus.
If you mean can you have more than one outbreak, then the answer is still yes. Absolutely. This is the usual course of the disease.

what do you mean?
once you get herpes it can't be cured. there are medications you can take that will control the outbreaks but there is no cure available yet.
