Yes, i can relate.
A lot of people go through this.
Yor biggest plus is that you know what is happening to you, and you can then do something about it. You can spend bucks and get help, or you can work it out on your own.
It is all in the mind, and it is worse when you are inactive (too much time on your hands )
A person also sees things that are not real , and you think things that are not really so, and you see them so lifelike !
Watch out for habit forming pills to make you relax !
Best is : get your mind right yourself.
remember too that a person is a very complex thing, and also we do not die that easily...
Good luck !

I've had anxiety attacks where my knees would draw up to my chest with my arms wrapped around my legs. I couldn't move, and no one could move my arms or legs. I trembled all over, my teeth even chattered. At the same time I would break out in a very heavy sweat.
I was hospitalized at that time, and the nurse would get an ativan under my tongue. After about 10 minutes my muscles would start relax, and the trembling would subside.
Then an exhaustion would come over me, and I would sleep.
That was about 12 years ago, and I'm much better now, although I have to take anxiety medication daily.

Yeah...I remember when it started for me too. Same thing, I work up and couldn't move at all, I was shaking really bad, racing thoughts, couldn't concentrate, racing heart, trouble breathing...ts was very scary I thought I WAS going to die. But you need to talk to a docotor immediatly. Don't do like me and think it'll go away...it only got worse for me and led into things even more serious. He'll probably put you on an SSRI like Zoloft or something more sedative. I've been on it for two months and my panic attacks have almost went away completly, but you NEED to see a doctor.

Anxiety attacks have a range of severity from just having racing heartbeat and feelings of nervousness to feeling like you're having a heart attack and you're about to die.
There are non-medicinal ways to deal with the attacks. Speak to your doctor who can refer you to a psychologist or psychiatrist. Sometimes sufferers need meds, but often times not.
Yes, I've had them, but now that I know what they are, I can control them and get rid of them sooner than before. It's not so scary anymore. Just have to let it run its course, and I know I'm not gonna die....just an inconvenience now, but I know not everyone is as fortunate as me.
Yeah...see a doctor. At least you'll get your options laid out for you.

Wow that doesnt really sound like a Anxiety attack maybe a panic attack? I get both anxiety and panic attacks, Im on lexapro and zanax. If you feel as if you are about to die then it may be a panic attack, they are not fun. Please go see a doctor as soon as possible. Sorry not much help.
