I am bipolar.. I wont preach to you about having been there and pretend to understand that I know what you are going through or tell you what to do to get through it.. only you can know what is best for you..
You are entitled to think yoga is for tree hugging sissys..
You are entitled to think that God is lame and fake
You have your reasons for this downturn in outlook for life.
I think of suicide as being like ripping off your arm because you have a dirty fingernail.
It is too extreme of a reaction to whatever might be the issues that has driven you to the brink.
I find distractions.. I play online games..
I research my illness.. I seek people that understand the answers for the questions I can't seem to find the words to ask..
and I think that is what you are doing now..
There is no shame in writing here..
Whatever gets you through.
Hang in there..
The thought that feeling nothing is far worse that feeling this intense personal torment keeps me strong enough to stick around until it passes.. and it will pass.

Depression really does suck. I have been to the place you are at. I ended up in a hospital for 4 days. Trust me that is not the way you want to go. It gets better. When I was depressed I just laid on my couch in the dark for months. They tried many different medications and finally found two that worked. When I started taking the meds I started realizing that life was good and there is hope and happiness. I know when you are depressed every minute seems like an eternity but if you can just hold on until you get some meds you will be happy you did. I hope you are seeking help. Meds changed my life. Good Luck to you. It will get better.

First of all, you need to get on an anti-depressant. You need to see a counselor to see why you are depressed. I guess you'll have to hit your bottom before you want to get better and seek the help that you need. Suicide is not the answer. Been there, tried that. I am so glad I didn't succeed in that one because there is hope. I live a rich and rewarding life now. You need to force yourself to do pleasurable activities, even if it's outside listening to the birds sing. Please seek help from family and friends. The least amount you are alone the better. Remember that no sleep makes you tired and things look even more bleak. Depression does suck but there is treatment for it and you have to go out and seek the help that you need. I was in the pits of hell and now I'm walking in the light. It is so much brighter. Hope you find your way here too. Don't hate God, you need all the help you can get.

I have two suggestions: 1) Get out of bed, disrobe as much as possible in your situation, wander around for 10 or 15 minutes and let your body get sort of cold. Then hop back into bed. Often the transition from cold to warm will induce a physical stupor that can lead to sleep. 2) If your mind is raging, try to compose your body and relax in bed. Then think about sex. Imagine an explicit fantasy, as erotic or nasty as you can make it. Don't be surprised if you sneeze a couple times. Start at the beginning, the set-up, the encounter, the seduction...go through every detail, as if you're writing it down in a letter to a voyeur you're teasing. And there's a good chance you'll fall asleep before you get to "the good stuff." This works by concentrating on something so involving that it basically drives out all the other distractions in your brain, and allows you to fall asleep. I mention sex because it's easy for most people to concentrate on, but if that doesn't work for you, try something else, like building a castle or revisiting in your mind a favorite book you've read several times, or something of that nature. Good luck. And good night. P.S. Don't "snoke" weed...whatever that is.

Know Exactly wt its like, but (as dificult as it seems) u gotta hang in there. n wteva it is that's gettin u down, it'll pass with time. it cud take a long time, but it'll pass. ther's only a certain amount of time wen a person can mourn. People lose evrythin n evry1 they hav, like in natural calamities, but they move on.
Try keepin urself busy. Involve urself in a sport or something else that needs ur physical n mental attention.
Plus, think of it this way : u don't know wt lies on the other side after u die. wt if its worse? Nothing, n more specifically, no1 is worth endin ur life. Good luck n take care..

i know the feeling. i'm actually going through it right this very minute. u r right depression does suck. do u think people actually like being so ******* low on everything that the only way out is to die. i sure as hell don't so... who the hell knows. all i know is that if we die cuz depression drove us to it then what is the world coming to. life is supposed to be happy and cool. but the cards don't always play out that way. try something to get your mind off it. i draw and write it just calms me down. i wish u the best of luck dealing with this hey i need to practice what i preach don't i well there is another task that i might half way some of the time be able to accomplish.

stop take a deap breath. call a friend. you should have a suicide hotline where you live, call 911 and tell them, do something to reach out, its not worth it, i know all too well. I too battle depression every day. I have been diagnosed with clinical depression. I had been on meds for a long time, but they started not to work, so i stoped. I have learned to meditate, which is a great way to realive that pressure. please talk to someone! and just know that i may not know you, but i can enough to take the time to answer you!! Peace and love to you.
