Big brother beats up middle brother, middle brother beats up little brother, and mum doesnt do anything about it.

Normally parents are not supposed to get involved in the fight of children be it own brothers and sisters or with neighbours children.
Any serious quarrel they are supposed to seggregate and arbitrate
to the satisfaction of both. Over a period of time everything gets settled down.

seems like a pecking order type of thing.. ? but at least make it a fair fight? somebody needs to beat the parents up so they know what they are allowing to happen.. hopefully they will catch on to the damage being done? or they will have one really withdrawn kid, and one monster of a bully on their hands in a few years.. and the kid in the middle will forever be stuck in the middle?
I am sure we can all find people in our lives that fit the profiles of what these kids will hopefully not become in the future..
somebody very egotistical or selfish blames the world and can do no wrong... then theres normal people... then theres scapegoats that accept the blame for everything that isn't their own doing.. the doormats of the world
what a shame that parents can actively encourage such things.. is this not abuse?

Well, normal parent will see the difference: joke beating or serious beating. I will kick my kids' butts if that will happen.

If they do....they need help. I'm a parent and I cannot fathom what would make anyone enjoy watching their children harm each other.

I always punished for that, but this mother may be too tired of disciplining the children

Every time I hear or see such a thing like that It pisses my off very badly and it make me want to stop it.

they probably see it as a form of "playing" and so are just glad the kids are out of their bloody hair

well that is odd because my lil sis can beat the hel* out of me and if i went to hit her back i would get my as* beat but wat is weird is that she is 15 im 16 we arnt that far apart i dont get it but she is my moms fav mom even tells me so, so its not juss the way i feel if ya noe wat i mean
