I've studied Scientology, and read books on both sides of the issue. Scientology is an applied religious philosophy. It's a field of study who's subject is you. Scientology's hope for you is that you can achieve the state of "Clear" or a state of freedom from your traumatic memories. Scientology helps people achieve this state through Dianetics counseling.
The aims of Scientology are a civilization without insanity without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights and man is free to rise to greater heights.
Scientologists believe strongly in community service, and have founded many social betterment organizations including, Narconon which helps people get off drugs, the Citizens Commission on Human Rights which works for psychiatric reform, the Applied Scholastics study tech organization, and the Way to Happiness Foundation.
BUT, Scientology is very expensive. Crossing Scientology's "Bridge to Total Freedom" can cost up to half a million dollars. And some of the information available on Scientology makes the organization look like a bizarre cult and it's practices have encountered controversy. Just google it, and you'll find a ton of information both pro and con.

If you are questioning if it is possible to be reborn, then you have doubts. And there are many other religious philosophies that believe in reincarnation, like Buddhism for instance. So keep your options open, and do some research. Don't just jump into the first car with air conditioning, check all the cars that have it. Then go with the one that matches you best.

I don't know exactly what you're asking, but, keep living the best life you can. Learn as much as you can and become as educated as possible. Always do the very best you can for yourself and your children. Life is not easy, but, never give up! Good luck, I wish you the best.
Feel free to email me if you want to talk about anything.

You can be "reborn" in your mind. I mean by that that you can change yourself inside and change your life by changing your thinking. I used to feel that my life sucking was all my parent's fault. Now, I am realizing more and more that the outcome of my life is up to me. Try reading these books. They will hopefully change your life if you let them. 1. Bible (NIV version, its easier to understand) 2. The Magic of Thinking Big- by David Schwartz 3. See You at the Top- by Zig Ziglar These books have changed my life, I hope they do the same for you!

if you are asking how can you expand your knowledge and make your life better for yourself and your kids I'd suggest you begin reading. Not just for fun but things that matter and are thought provoking.
Take a college course if thats an option to you.
Volunteer at a crisis center or homeless shelter for women and children.
Any of the above mentioned will help to expand your view of the world around you as well as help you to discover new things about yourself.

I would suggest researching/reading/watching Charles Stanley of In Touch Ministries. (Listen!)
Make informed decisions. Search and you shall find. You can bring blessings to your family 10 generations after by choosing to live a life as Jesus taught us.

Scientology is a CULT!
Being born again is a spiritual birth...the Holy Spirit changing the mind...that's what repentence is...changing the mind
(Joh 3:1) There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
(Joh 3:2) The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
(Joh 3:3) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
(Joh 3:4) Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
(Joh 3:5) Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
(Joh 3:6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
(Joh 3:7) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
(Joh 3:8) The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
(1Co 2:9) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
(1Co 2:10) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
(1Co 2:11) For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
(1Co 2:12) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
(1Co 2:13) Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
(1Co 2:14) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
(1Co 2:15) But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
(1Co 2:16) For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED AT BEING UNLEARNED...
Luk 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
(1Co 1:26) For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
(1Co 1:27) But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
(1Co 1:28) And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are:
(1Co 1:29) That no flesh should glory in his presence.
(1Co 1:30) But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
(1Co 1:31) That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
