Only you can decide whether life is worth living or not.

Keep in mind that suicide is a permanent solution to what is usually a temporary problem.

Life is what you make of it, so it's really up to you.

Yes, life is worth living whether or not God is real or not. There is evidence that life is worth living because you can see the great things some people ahve done in life and have experienced in life.

When you are depressed, you can't imagine tha t life has any purpose becuase life feels so bad. Nothing that feels that bad can be worth it it seems. But what you must realize is that the bad feelings are only temporary. You can't view life from the proper perspective as long as you are in a state of depression. And when you are in a state of depression, when you look back over your life, you THINK that you have always been depressed, even if that is not true. I have experienced this. Then after I was no longer depressed because I got the right meds then I realized that it wasn't so. I DID have happy times. But the depression made me forget them. It puts a shadow and a veil over everything so you can't see the good anymore. It is not real though. And the veil CAN be removed.

First of all, see a doctor. That is very important because if you have gotten so down that you are contemplating suicide more and more, it means that you have been so down your serotonin levels are depleted from stress. You'll need a medication to get it back up to normal.

In the meantime, as much as you like depressing songs and stuff like that, you MUST stay away from them. They will make it worse. A good trick is to take a song that starts out sad but ends happy. If you are in the mood to listen to sad songs, listen to one like that. By the end, you will feel better. At least that has worked for me.

I have experienced all this stuff. Please believe me. I know what i'm talking about.

life is worth living if you have a purpose to live for. You can't just stand back and say there's nothing in life worth living for, you have to go out there and look for something that wiull make yoiur life worth living. I don't want to sound cliched but have you really stepped outside your own little world and really discovered what is out there, there's so many people who have ti worse off than you and they still manage to live life even though it's crap as hell.

I don't wanna be the bible bashing type but God is the reason why my life is worth living becasue i know that i am living for something greater beyond this life and being here on earth is just an oppurtunity to help others go in the right direction. sure my life is not all roses, because i'm only human but at least i have that hope to hang onto.

I have tried to commit suicide many times in my past, and never suceeded, I am so thankful now! I would have never had a great relationship with Jesus, been married to a wonderful man, had the children I have now, hear the birds chirping like I am now, and I definatly wouldn't be answering this question! Honey, there are answers for you, and If you want to talk, let me know, or come over to my 360 page, and read about Jesus Christ, He is very real, and He delivered me from those thoughts!

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.
Joh 3:18 He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil.
Joh 3:20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
Joh 3:21 But he who practices truth comes to the Light so that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

Love in Christ, Sabrina

Hey, I don't believe in god, but the way I see it life is totally worth living. Because, regardless of what's happening now, death just might be so much worse. Besides, suicide is a really selfish way to die, and it hurts so many more people then you'd think. If you really feel suicidal, seek professional help.

this is REALLY important to know and remember.

our bodies are like a "machine" and it does not always work properly. kinda like your car.

there are certain chemicals your body produces like serotonin which helps regulate our "mood". If this system is not working at it's best, it is far more challenging to experience happiness.

there is wonderful help out there for this. There is no such thing as a "magic pill" however, once this system is up and running properly, the intensity of negative emotion is lessen and you have a better handle on things. that and take the opportunity to talk with someone to help you live the kind of journey you want.

I was 19 when I first walked out in front of a car. I thought nothing was good in my life & I had nothing to live for,(because what I had been through), & in that instant, It was like one of those movies that you see, when everything had gone on a go-slow. I was watching this car come at me, full-beam headlights & something flashed in my mind, I had a 9mnth baby girl & that she needed me! I had forgot the 1 good thing that I was thankful for, and that was her! even tho' her daddy deserted her & I, I thankd God for reminding me of that! I have many more things to be thankful for now! A new husband, more children & my life is more full with God in it. I believe we all have at least 1 thing to be thankful for, if you start there, and continously find things to be thankful for, you will find life will start to change, my daughter is now 19!

The reason people commit suicide is they search for peace in external pleasure, which are always temporary, real peace is always inside you, understand whatever is happenning to you is gods wish, and he surely has better things for you in the store, maybe the time has not come. Do meditation and try to relax, everything will be Ok, GOD HELP ONE WHO HELP THEMSELVES.

If there is a God, then, yes, life is worth living, because of the reward for living it justly. If there isn't a God, then definetly, because after this it is nothingness. No music, no love, no laughter or excitement. So you have to enjoy it while you can.
