Most Christians will tell you no. They will also tell you that being gay is a choice. In some cases, perhaps homosexuality is a product of environment, but in most cases, I think it's something that you are born with.

This is one of the issues I considered in my decision to leave Christianity. The Bible says it's wrong, but never says why it's wrong - like a lot of other things. I think that you can still be a Christian and be gay, personally. But I'd have to wonder what gay person would want that, as there's nothing they can do about being who they have been since birth. Seems to me that it's a sad thing to join up with an ideology that says you are evil simply because you don't love the "right way."

I have never seen anything inherently wrong with being gay.

While God has given all of us free will, Christians are supposed to follow God's and man's laws. Being gay or bi may be a choice but it is a sin. It is wrong. If you repent of your sins, why would you keep going back to the SAME sins? It would be the same with ANY sin... murder, adultery, stealing. If someone keeps murdering or committing adultery or stealing they are not being repentant. It takes them further from God. Everyone makes mistakes though. If you really want to turn your life around, it is best to stop whatever sins you are doing and try to obey the laws of both God and man.

There is no such thing as a big sin or a small sin.In God's eyes,a sin is a sin.Whether it be lying or commiting adultry. If you commit a sin,you have to ask forgiveness wholeheartedly from God who is willing to forgive your sins as He died on the cross for you and me.Homosexuality is wrong. It's written in the book of Romans.God's purpose was for a man to be with a women.God already loves you with an everlasting love. All you have to do is recieve it.

There is no reason why are sinner cannot be a believer, homosexuality is wrong becuase it is against the law of nature it can create diseases, and I believe all religions are based on science.

The answer to your self discovery is that we are all playing are part in the world drama and who so ever play the part well will be rewarded with heaven on judment day. One more small suggetion, instead of being religious be spiritual.

To my mind, this is not a natural condition, it is out of my reality, I can not understand or accept it, i am a man only attracted by girls. To me, the fact that you face all the questions that raise in you shows that you have courage. Do not give up. I can not judge you ethically, believe me, i do not. If you had homosexual experiences i believe you just did unnatural things that hurt your body. Jesus Christ was always talking with sinners, thieves, all the ones that needed Him. I do hope you find answers for your questions, to my mind if you live in accordance to the laws of nature you will not be a homosexual, and you will love more yourself and the people around you.
thank you for your time.

God loves you no matter what people tell you.
Keep on praying.
All sin is the same. Even if you commited a 'real bad sin' you can be forgiven if you repent!
Its ok! Look at the people in the Bible who were sinners, and God forgave them!
Moses was a murderer and God made him a great leader!
As Christians, we are not bound to our past.

Yes you sure can, the bible talk of many thing in the bible your not suppose to do, but you see other still going to church every Sunday. Drinking, divorced, un married sex, stealing, liers, ect...

Once you give you life to God and you Repent and ask for forgiveness , he will forgive you, he will open up your eyes and make you understand thing that not clear to you now...

He don't expected you give up every sin you have in your life all at once, he will work with you like you do a child in school..

you cannot be a true follower of Christ and a homosexual at the same time. the Bible forbids that a man lie with another man. however, once you are saved, you are ALWAYS saved, no matter what sin you commit. whoever says otherwise obviously doesnt know the Bible well.

According to catholism, we must not discriminate people who are homosexual or bisexual. Those people who are homosexual or bisexual can still go to church as long as they do not act upon does desires and remain single or try to elimante their desire for people of the same sex either by counseling or other means. Homosexuality is considered wrong. I do not know how other cristian fates stand on this issue. Good luck on your search for answers.

D-
To me a Christian is someone who tries to learn from and live the teachings of Jesus the Christ. Among Jesus's lessons were tolerance and acceptance. and to the best of my knowledge those values apply to all. Too bad so many other "Christians" choose to ignore that fact.
