Start with the person that taught you ASL for some pointers on where you can go to interact with deaf people. Do an Internet search for deaf clubs or events in your area.

Here is a fun event that travels all over the country

Good luck!!

A lot of communities have "silent dinner" where the Deaf community gets together at a local mall and just hang out. Also try contacting the local school system and ask about volunteering in the schools with deaf students.

Do a search for your local chapter of the Association of the Deaf, and contact someone from there. Deaf people are very accomodating and love new people.
