Hitler and his wife then went back into their private quarters while Bormann and Goebbels remained quietly nearby. Several moments later a gunshot was heard. After waiting a few moments, at 3:30 p.m., Bormann and Goebbels entered and found the body of Hitler sprawled on the sofa, dripping with blood from a gunshot to his right temple. Eva Braun had died from swallowing poison.

Is the official version though some say he is still alive and has been reported seen along with his wife.

there are several theories, the most famous ones:-

1. He ate poison and shot himself at the same time.
2. He ate poison, but didn't shoot himself.
3. He shot himself, but didn't take poison.
4. One of Hitler's supposed "doubles" was killed, creating the illusion Hitler was dead, allowing the "real" Adolf Hitler to escape.
5. Somebody else killed Hitler.

He and Eva Braun commited suicide in his personal bunker a couple hours or maybe a day before the Russians arrived in Berlin. He died an insane, incoherent man. Though it is interesting to note that Stalin, during his reign, killed 2-3x as many people as Hitler did.

Just before he went into hos office in his underground bunker he fed his dog cyanide. His wife, Eva Hitler, who he married a few hours before followed him in. He told the gaurd at the door not to let anyone in.
After a few minutes, some people think that they had sex first, Eva Hitler took cyanide. She wanted to leave a beatuiful corpse. Hitler sat down at his desk. Took out a small walter PPK pistol and put one bullet in the chamber. He put a small glass cyanide capsule in his mouth as he put the gun to his tempel. He bit down and pulled the triger at the same time, Hitler knew that a shot to the head doesnt always kill instantly, alot of officers on the Eastern front had put them selfs into vegatative states or pralised themselfs. Hitler didnt want to be taken alive, in any shape or form. So he double killed him self.
After the shot was heard they entered his office, they saw Hitler lying dead slumped forwards on his desk, and Eva on the couch looking as if she was sleeping.
They carried his body up outside the bunker and dug a pit in the ground. They wraped him in a swaztica and threw him in the pit and doused him in petrol. Goobels (his propaganda minister) said
"Now he belongs to the ages"
and threw his silver lighter, that Hitler had given him for his birthday, into the pit. Setting Hitler on fire.
A few days later Goobels poisoned his children (who were also in the bunker) and killed his wife then himself and were burned in the same pit.
After the German surender, Russian soldiers found the bones of these people in the pit and took them back to Russia. The USSR had the skull of Hitler on display in a dark shady room in the Kremlin for years.
And thats the sordid story of the end of the Fuher

Do you really believe Hitler would allow hisself to be captured alive or dead. At the Fall of Berlin Hitler wasn't even in Deuchland.
What the russians have is probally Nazi but not Hitler..

He died by losing his mind. I've heard that he's somehow a illed person, that's why he wanted to control the whole world.
But he failed, he can't face that so he commited suicide after killing his wife. They died together in an office room.
WW2 costed too much for a strage reason, a man with physical illness to control the world as his symptoms.

According to joke rumours, Hitler was playing russian roullete with his wife Eva but accident killed him with a single life bullet. Eva was so devastated and killed herself also.
