Is it possible to accidentally get high from standing in close proximity to a drug user who isn't smoking?

Is it possible to accidentally get high from standing in close proximity to a drug (ab)user who isn't actually smoking anything at that moment?

I realise it's a very ridiculous question to ask, but I am VERY paranoid about drugs.

no, the smell of pot or whatever he was smoking will not get you high, you have to do the drug to get high, you cant "second hand" it unless your breathing in his smoke

No it would be impossible to get high from a drug user standing that distance away from you and not smoking at the time.
