hey pervey pirate i think god was pissed off because the bad guys(the romans) crucified him and his buddies for crimes against the roman empire.
did the romans think brother jesus was a terrorist to them?

When Jesus was hanging on the cross He took on the evil of all mankind - "He died for our sins". God cannot look upon evil, and had to separate Himself from Jesus, which is why Jesus cried out in anguish "My God, why hast thou forsaken me?" . He couldn't bear the pain of the separation from His Father, however temporary that separation was.

The verse in the New Testament is in Mark 15:34. Jesus was repeating the words of David in Psalm 22:1. David starts talking about himself and then turns to talking about a future descendant, Jesus the Son of God. David did nothing to provoke those who tried to kill him just as Jesus did nothing. Jesus was the only one sinless. David in Psalm 22 also tells of Jesus's crucifixion and more. God cannot look upon sin, and Jesus took upon himself our sins as he hung upon the cross

I think what it meant was that Jesus was asking God (because he was in such agony and pain) why have you turned your back on me? That was his father that did that to him so you can only imagine what he was feeling. Jesus had nails through his wrists and or hands. I can't even comprehend that kind of pain.

No, Jesus was just a man. And at that point when he was near death, he wondered where was God's help in his time of need.
