i have this dream where a boulder is colliding with me and it hits me and i wake up.....i have had this dream many times in the last 7 years....i dont understand it

Any dream is an image of what we are thinking and what is really happenin around us but as conscious mind we have not picked it up but our sub-conscious mind is picking it, to know what your dream really tells you analyse it with other details;
like if it hit you on a way to mountain: then it means someone is tryin to stop you from achieving your goal or ambition.
if it hit you on a plain then something is really bothering you which you have not known till now,
and if a dream become compulsion then it is within and you are may be tryin to hide something and this is the time to tell that truth .....

If the dream is recurring, then your sub concious is trying to tell you something, maybe you should watch your surroundings more carefully and/or becarful of the people you are around. Something big that is not good is going to hurt you or possibly kill you in the future.

If you aren't truely afraid of being hit by a boulder I would guess it is your minds visualization of fear or frustration of things that are unexpected or getting in your way. Do you feel like things happen that impede your progress in life? Is life throwing more at you than you can handle? It may sound silly, but ask yourself what rocks mean to you. Then ask what that answer makes you think of and so on. Therapists charge alot to do just that. Most of the answers we seek are in our head already, but buried. Try it.

Do you live in Boulder, CO.? Or maybe you had a bad experience at Boulder Dam once. Or maybe you and boulders just don't get along.

maybe you feel there is a big barrier in your life preventing you from moving on to where you want to go, and this is being symbolized by a boulder. You may be up against something you feel is unsurpassable. Perhaps you need to deal with whatever it may be.
