Loud buzz started about 3 weeks ago-stays at same sound level. Cleaned and tested all cables/connections to antenna, VCR, DVD and TV.Tried different outlets on other circuits, then took off back and vacuumed lightly with filter over nozzle. NO CHANGE! The buzz is strong enough to "feel" a vibration when I place my hand near the controls across the bottom-front of cabinet. Don't have a clue what is causing this or if it is a fixable problem. Any idea?

If the buzz stays at the same level regardless of the volume going up or down then there is probably a problem with the amplifier circuit. Amp. IC or could even be a bad filter capacitor. Too many things can cause this symptom.

if your refferring to a tv volume using a potentiometer,, simply replace the volume control with new one and the problem is solve.but if the tv controls are soft touch button, the problem is merely on the "syscom" section.
