I think just the single flower, as long it is really nice. It has the suggestion of "oneness" or uniqueness. Plus from a practical point of view, it is easier to carry on a date.
A white rose is meant to mean a very pure love, a soulmate love. It would be very special to get one of those. I love orchids, which are very exotic and rare.
But you know, it all sounds lovely. What a sweetie you are.

Depends...is it the first date? If so, a dozen roses is a bit much. The girl might think your desperate. A single rose a fine, but look up the meanings of the colors because believe it or not, they actually mean something and a lot of females actually know that and you don't want to give off the wrong impression.

A dozen roses is too much just for a date. I like a nice wildflower. Just something he was walking by and thought I might like. But I'm a simple country girl, so my views may be a little off from everyone else's.....

i'd prefer a pink single rose because that's not sumthing u c everyday. pink roses r supposed 2 mean friendship evolving into a relationship and u alwayz c guyz giving there dates a dozen red roses. so b different.
but if u go with da dozen roses get a unique color like silver!!

I would prefer a single Gerber daisy or a bunch of fresh-picked Violets and some chocolate-covered strawberries or dark chocolate. And I would think the guy was the sweetest thing in the world if he showed up for a date with me with all that.
