Probably not. Marijuana was legal back before prohibition when alcohol was made legal the revenuers no longer had jobs. So marijuana was made illegal and the revenuers kinda evolved into the ATF. The crooked cops and the CIA make way too much money with it being illegal. A large percentage of the prison populations are marijuana related. All these prisons being built near small towns bring money and jobs to the area. The prison population is counted in the census for that area and the town gets more money from the government.
Michael Ruppert was a L.A. cop who was approached by the CIA to help them in one of their drug running operations. He blew the whistle on them and has sense been researching and digging up evidence. The CIA provided Columbia (I think) with C-130 transport planes to ship the drugs. Google Michael Ruppert and check it out.

probably when hell freezes over unless the government can figure out how to control it in a legal marketplace. they could make a fortune if they could control it, but as you may well know, it's a natural free growing plant that really takes no cultivation to propagate. one wonders what will be next. there are so many plants that have been outlawed. i mean really check out how many natural plants are illegal in this country, outlawed by people who profess to love God! What God messed up? I don't think so.

Umm...it's already legal in some states. Some states choose to use it for MEDICINAL purposes only though. But in some places like Alaska you can grow, buy and sell it. I think the bill passed for it during the last election. I'm not sure if it's still active.

It's already legal, for medical purposes in my state of Oregon. Which is fine I guess, I don't think it should ever be legal for everyone.
I agree with mrsingu alcohol, does more damage. I think they should ban both of them. (but that is my opinion)

Not in the foreseeable future I fear....no way to tax something (like they can tobacco and alcohol) that you can grow in your closet or backyard. And to compound the issue, the alcohol lobby in Washington, D.C.is one of the strongest and imagine the effect it would have on the sales of their products with legalization of pot.
