Just thought Id add that taking him back to court involves finding him and serving him personally. I dont know anything about him for two years now. Taking to police chief/captains hasnt helped either because Ive reported two officers. When they came to my home for incidents they decided to come back later and hit on me. So I reported them. Now when I call to report an incedent it takes about 3 hrs or they never show up at all. So Ive just stopped.

i suggest you call the justice of the peace, and file another complaint on the events, then he will have to go to court and explain the eevents, and with you having the restraining order, the judge will sentence.

Having been jailed for violation of a restraining order in the past, I can see both sides of this.
I was asked to bring my daughters clothes back to her mother while we were seperated. I made it known that I did not want my daughters mother there when I dropped them off. A tip was passed on to the police that I was on my way... and I was arrested when I pulled up to the curb (within 500 feet of the residence)
Unlike my particular event, this seems like a MALICIOUS attempt at intentionally breaking the terms of the order of protection, and I will stop short of saying I think you are exaggerating in your question when stating the facts of what is happening, but I am having a hard time believing that nobody is taking you seriously if he is really acting this way..
in my state, a restraining order is issued by a criminal court justice and records are maintained by the probation department.. ask to speak with a judge and explain the situation with him, and the restraining order can be modified accordingly.. and speak with probation people to let them know of what is happening. buy a disposable camera and leave a current newspaper at the front door so the front page will be in the photo. if he shows up, there will be no dispute for the day. point a webcam out the window and use the motion detect feature to monitor for when you are not home. Caller ID costs 2 bucks a month. No brainer there. Beat him at his own games... legally
restraining orders can go either way.. entice him into breaking it and you can be held equally responsible for as if he did it on his own. good luck

It sounds like it's not such a civil issue if he's stalking you, has a gun, and has killed one of your dogs. I suggest you go back to court and raise the importance of that restraining order, and talk to your local police captain about the enforcement problem. Ask him what you can do to help keep this man away from you.
