I've looked everywhere and I can't find any tv/vcr combos with lp recording speed. It seems kinda pointless to stop making them. Do they still make them?

I recently checked out from our library, several books on home electronics to trouble-shoot VCR record/play back problems. I remember reading that the industry decided to eliminate "LP" and chose to stick with "SP" (2-hr) and "ELP" or "SLP" (6-hr) record speeds, however, play-back of tapes that were recorded previously in "LP" mode would still play properly when viewed or copied again (like VCR to VCR)
Good to know if you have a bunch of pre-recorded Video tapes-they are all still usable.

I haven't seen a VCR with LP speed for recording in ages. I guess you're stuck with either SP or EP at this point.
