You are not the wrong race. You enjoy everything about the culture of the race you are involved with.
Stop focusing on yourself and just enjoy the benefits of being able to socialize with the other culture. Whatever names people call you because you are socializing with another race, so what, that's their drama, not yours. If more people socialize outside of their race, maybe there would be less hatred in the world. Keep on doing what you are doing and stop making yourself feel guity about it.

I don't think it has anything to do with mixed genes or prior lives. I think it has to do with a trigger that happened long ago when you were little. Perhaps someone of that race was kind to you at a vulnerable time in your life. Perhaps you felt you didn't look Caucasian enough, or all American enough, and took refuse in a family of that race that were available and kind.
Its no different then the white kids in the inner city pretending to be Black, because they are the ones they look up to, athletes, gangstas, etc. It is different for Latino / white emulation. Besides the language, there is the cultural closeness of Latinos making it more difficult for a white male to be accepted . With white females however it is very easy to be adopted into a culture, and maybe you are so engrossed in to trying to gain acceptance to that culture you are obsessed by it.

While I have never seen any previous talk about this, I would be willing to believe it. You sound honestly concerned about this, and perhaps, to some degree, it is possible. Given my personal beliefs, I would think along the lines of a genealogical line that ties you to this race or even reincarnation from being that before. But also, I don't see race, I see a person. Yes, each race has their own cultural history, and they are unique, but so are people, and each is each. I understand how these feelings might be affecting you, but I think you are putting too much into it. Don't worry about what color you are, it sets too many boundaries for you to do that.

Well asked and it set me thinking. I think you have to do a course in Behavioral Science and while keeping in mind that in matters of the heart - Race is of no consequence - See the movie "To Sir With Love" - and then examine the four quadrants that make you up :-
1. The face you show to the world
2. The face the world shows to you
3. The face you keep to your self alone
4. The face you want the world to see in you.
And then get into the Race and Culture thing if you feel like it
All the best

People born with gender identity disorder, and other such problems relating to their gender, are normally BORN with these problems. You are talking about confusion caused by your repeated exposure to a certain set of environmental triggers. These are two totally separate problems.
I think you're suffering more from envy than confusion.

You are who you are. Your choices in life are yours to make. You choose your spouse, friends, associates etc. I believe in past lives. So perhaps in your past life you were of the race you choose to associate with, marry into, fellowship with etc. Be true to yourself. All people are made of the same blood. We are human beings and capable of loving one another. We are all equal in the eyes of our creator. You are who you are. Choose wisely. Be well.
