It is OK. Actually very good, because melon have a lot of water and it is diuretic.

The sugar from fruits is frutose which is not like the sugar we know, sacarose. Frutose is broken by the human body easier than sacarose.

I am assuming you eat 2/3 of a melon and not 2 or 3 melons.

If you're starting the day with a lot of sweet and not enough protein, you could send your blood sugar levels on a roller coaster ride all day. The sweetness in fruit is due to fructose, a natural sugar that enters the bloodstream very quickly. A little fruit in the morning is good, but 2 3 melons seems a bit much. Consider some whole grain cereal or bread, or an egg (boiled or poached, not fried), or some plain yogurt or lowfat cottage cheese, to give your body some more complex nutrients to work on in the morning.

First of all, eating a melon for breakfast is always going to be better than starting your day off with something fatty or sugary. Just make sure you have a balanced diet and you should be okay. Fruit tends to have sugar in it but there isn't much to worry about, it's natural sugar.

What kind of melons? C'mon you were expecting that! Melons are good anytime of the day.... Actually depends on what kind of diet you're on. If low carb, stay away from fruits and melons. OTherwise melons and fruiit are a good source of vitamins. The other melons are just as delicious.

You don't want to get too much carbs, even good carbs like melons. You need a balanced diet and definitely some good protein in there. Do your research online.
