Not at all! Many men and women have their first child in their last 30s or early 40s. Nowadays, we're all healthier and live longer. Besides, you're more mature, stable, and financially secure now than you've ever been. Go for it!

Absolutely not! While it's true that a the quality of a woman's eggs decreases after 30 (making risks for birth defects such as Downs Syndrome, etc.) PLENTY of women have had babies at 39, 40, and so on. I personally have two very good friends who had babies when they were 40 and 42 respectively, and they're perfectly healthy, beautiful children!

age will not be a barrier to have a child. but at 39 u should be very careful to concieve as late pregnancy could lead to many health problems. unless u r healthy enough to have a baby and this should be done under proper guidance of a gynecologist. all the best and go for it.

No, I've known older women to have babies. There are, however, more health risks for you and the baby the longer you wait to have a child. You should consider your current health and possibly consult your physician when determinating what you want to do.

Not at all. Women in there 50's could still have children. There are higher risks with being pregnant at an older age though. I would check with your doctor to see specifically what the risks are for you and for the baby.

Sh1t yes it is, you'll be 44 when the child is 5! And you'll be 50 when the child is nine, that's pretty sad, don't deprive a child of a live with active parents....My opinion..

No. My mom had me when she was 37 and she had my sister when she was 43. Both births went very well. Of course, since you are older, you want to make sure that you are healthy, eat a balanced diet, and exercise.

your never too old to have children, if you are willing to face the risk factors involved. the most common one being that your child will be born with down syndrome, have a mild mental retardation, or be RH positive..

God no. Just see your doctor early in the pregnancy. You will only be in your early 60's by the time your child would be grown.
