No different to beefburgers, flavourless without the other ingredients There is not a lot of flavour to snails, all you can taste is the garlic butter.

NO they are delicious in a very good restaurant.

I know, they sound bad but so does cow, and oysters, and lots of other delicious foods.

They are YUMMY in a garlic/butter sauce.
And those cute little tongs they give you to hold the shells are fun too.

They weren't as bad as I had feared - but I'd rather had chicken, steak, ribs, shrimp, or even sushi.

I might have to think hard between snails or liver, though ...

If you like garlic and butter, then escargot are YUMMY! If I can get the same sauce on mussels, clams, chicken, shrimp, bread, or practically anything, I'll eat it!

Escargot is absolutely delicious. At first I thought it was disgusting but when it is prepared properly it's great. I'll get escargot anywhere I can.
