In Korea they eat dogs and in many parts of the world, even the United States. I own a Chihuahua and in Korea she would make a great appetizer…don’t worry I am not planning on eating my dog, she is safe!

No, I could not eat dog but I probably have because a Chinese restaurant I went to shut down after it was found to be serving unidentifiable meats. It was either cat,dog or rat meat. :(

So you are asking if I were stranded in the most remote place on the planet and if by eating her I would be able to live and make it to safety would I do it?
I would sooner die than take the life of my faithful dog and eat her meat.
Isn't it horrible what people do to our furkids? In these remote lands (China, Korea, etc) they also make coats and gloves from dog's tails and skins. I have seen how they get these furs too. They don't even have the decency to kill the dogs before they start skinning them alive. The one I saw was a German Shepard and she was wagging her tail as they led her over to murder her. It broke my heart.

In MOST of Asia it is norm to eat dog because it is supposed to make the blood thicker when it is cold outside. I have researched this topic and have seen videos and the horror that these animals and cats go through..truly sickening. They are tortured long before they die. If you want to contact me answer one of my questions.

I would, why the hell not meat is meat. Given a bad situation I would eat animal. There are those in the world that think the cow is a sacred animal, yet we eat cows all day long.

Uhhh, I don't think I would eat my dog. I understand in some countries they do, but that does not make it okay for me. I like my dog alive and raising heck...lol.

dam people can be soo ignorant! those dogs are bred for that purpose, just like here in the u.s. we eat cows. we breed cows to not be as smart, they breed dogs for the same characteristics. human beings do not like to eat 'intelligent' animals in general. we like our food meaty and stupid, less guilt. the dogs they are eating are not the cute little Fido's we enjoy as pets. it's no different than the Hindu people thinking we are nasty for eating cows. or the Jewish people thinking we are nasty for eating pigs, which are VERY nasty animals. it has to do with a person's CULTURE. something which you obviously have none of. I would never eat my pets, nor would I allow anyone to eat them either. I will eat animals my culture (American) has deemed acceptable, like cows, chickens, pigs, turkeys, etc. many vegetarians think we herbivores are sick. I say "to each his or her own".

BTW: no, I cannot see myself eating a dog.
